About cultural experiences

The story first.
The space follows.

We design the narrative, the visitor journey, and the content of cultural experiences.

Then we supervise the scenography to make sure the story stays intact.

Museums, heritage sites, immersive spaces, we are the intellectual direction.

Build the intellectual
framework

We define the curatorial concept, narrative axes and synopsis of each project. Our teams design the visitor journey and select the objects, documents and stories that structure the exhibition.

Create the editorial
content

We produce the intellectual substance of the exhibition: wall texts, labels, scripts, catalogues and visitor guides, transforming research and collections into clear and engaging content.

Ensure coherence
to the public

We accompany implementation by ensuring the scenography remains faithful to the curatorial vision and by training mediation teams to convey the narrative to visitors.

Leveraging our expertise firmly rooted in the cultures and traditions of the regions where we operate, our company positions itself as a unique partner in the intellectual direction of cultural experiences.

Holistic understanding
of local cultures

Our immersion at the heart of communities gives us a nuanced understanding of the symbols, rituals, and values that shape the cultural identity of each region.

This in-depth knowledge allows us to select and contextualize the content in a way that faithfully reflects the richness and complexity of local heritage.

Intellectual direction and scenography supervision

We design the narrative framework, the visitor journey, and the content that gives meaning to the exhibition. We then supervise the scenography to ensure the story stays intact. We don’t build the space — we ensure it tells the right story.

Involvement of local stakeholders

Our teams maintain close ties with local communities and cultural heritage stakeholders.

This proximity allows us to actively involve these stakeholders in the design and implementation of exhibitions, ensuring their relevance and legitimacy.

Case study - Museum of Nomads

A new cultural landmark in Tabuk

The challenge
The Museums Commission at the Saudi Ministry of Culture aimed to create a museum entirely dedicated to nomadic heritage in Tabuk. The project required a full intellectual and museographic approach, from concept to exhibition content and visitor experience.
Our approach
Leveraging decades of field experience across the Arabian Peninsula and beyond, About Heritage led the full museographic process: curatorial vision across 9 galleries, collection and artists selection, visitor journey, and immersive technologies. We produced all exhibition content and ensured narrative consistency throughout the design phase.
The impact
The Museum of Nomads is one of the few museums worldwide dedicated to nomadic heritage. It showcases About Heritage’s ability to deliver end-to-end Heritage Intelligence — from concept to content, curation to mediation — grounded in deep field expertise.
